How do I know if I am getting a hemorroid? Can you see it coming out of your ... well ... behind? does it hurt or bleed? I am 16 weeks preggo and have constipation most of the time. Sorry for the silly question! Thanks for the answer!

I would think that your a__s would begin to get very sore. And that even the more common bowel movement would become painful. Talk to your Dr., as embarra__sing as it could be, to find out what to watch for. And remember to ask about proper rememdies as well. Good Luck!

Believe me, you would know if you had one! They are painful, especially if you're constipated. They bleed often bleed a little bit just after a bowel movement. They itch sometimes too. You can't always see them because you can get them iternally. I read that 1 in 3 women get them after giving birth. Eat plenty of fruit and fibre, constipation makes thme more likely, and do you're pelvic floor excercises. It may not prevent them entirley but it will help.

You can't always tell if you have a hemmoroid. Sometimes they don't bleed or itch. A doctor would have to check it out to see if there are any down there.

Yeah, but if they don't bleed or itch then they're not a problem.
