Ok... So I'm feeling very foolish right now. I had unprotected s_x with my boyfriend yesterday and now I'm worried about pregnancy. I have tried a lot of different forms of birth control, but the patch, the ring, and the pill all made me miseably sick and vomiting. So I'm pretty much just been relying on condoms - and yesterday we got way too caught up and blew it off. Soooo stupid, I know! Anyway...I'm really desperate to know if I can take Plan B even though the birth control pills I have tried make me throw up. Is it dangerous for me to take it - because I have a feeling I'm gonna be VERY sick from it. Please respond...I want to take it as a precaution but I'm worried it won't be safe for me because I've already proven to be so susceptible to progestin/estrogen pills....(when i had s_x yesterday it was on day 9 of a 26-29 day cycle. Am I at a really high risk??) Thanks!

Think of Plan B as a superduper strong birth control pill. If you get sick from bcps then you will more than likely get sick from Plan B.

You need to see a Doctor. If the Pill makes you sick them more than likely PlanB (or Morning After here) will also make you sick and will therefore be completely useless to you - the body needs to absorb it. You are at risk of pregnancy as you are within your 'window' of Ovulation based on your cycle. Make an emergency appointment today as you only have a maximum of 72 hours (preferably 48 hours) to take anything. I would lie to the nurse/doctor too and ell them the condom split. The grief I got for telling them the truth that hubby and I got 'carried away' involved an hours telling off and reminders not to be so stupid blah blah blah (this was also after the birth of my first son and we hadn't had s_x since I was 28 weeks pregnant- he was 6 weeks old and we had been married in between!) and feeling like I was a bad child rather than a grown married woman!
