Movement At 14 Weeks

I'm 14 weeks prego, and starting the end of last week, i was getting these sharp pains in my abdomen. I went to the emergency room, not being sure what was going on, but they did an ultrasound and exam, and everything seemed to be going okay. The baby was moving around an awful lot. I still am getting a wierd pain, but its not painful anymore, and i also feel a little fluttering. Im just not sure if im feeling the baby, or im just imagining things because im reading about it. Is it too early to feel anything, since this is my first pregnancy???

Movement typically begins 16-22 weeks usually later for first time moms. It is not unheard of for you to be feeling flutters right now although it may still just be gas. Also women who are smaller and skinnier tend to feel movements sooner then women with a lil extra fluff. So either way take comfort in knowing you are right around the corner to feeling those first kicks if you are not already. :)

I read that when the ligaments start to stretch in your stomach, that you get a pain, so maybe that could be it, even though i still have not started showing yet. Im not quite sure if Ive even gained any weight. But I have been eating! LOL.

the pain you are feeling is the ligiments streching in your uterus its very normal and the fluttering you are feeling is either gas or the baby moving. good luck.
