Ovulation Question Please Help

I used an ovulation predictor test and got two lines on Tuesday and Wednesday (so I'm assuming they were my most fertle days) and then Thursday afternoon I had a small discharge. I think it might have been my egg "dissolving".....which means I am not pregnant. Does anyone know? Did anyone have this discharge and still get pregnant? Since my husband and I have been trying, I'm not sure if it was sperm or the egg. (I am so sorry, I know this is TMI, but I really need answers) I feel like I have read 101 things, but really am not sure. Do I still have a chance of being pregnant? Thanks! Jen

It is highly doubtful that it was the egg. The positive lines on the ov pred kit mean that you will ovulate in the next 12-48 hours. Right around the time when you ovulate your cervical mucus will be thin, clear, and egg white like. It will increase until it peaks around the time that you release the egg. Most likely you experienced this. It is also easy to mistake this mucus for sperm. I don't know how to tell the differance yet. Hang in there. I'm in the same place you are right now. I should get a positive on the ov pred kit this weekend. We'll see. I have found the following website helpful: babyhopes.com/articles/cervical-mucus.html I didn't know about this cervical mucus stuff until last month when we starting trying for our second. Good luck! Keep me updated!

Clear or creamy discharge around ovulation time could be s____n or natural fertile mucus. Spotting might be from the follicle letting go the egg. A week from now you may have somewhat more signs to go on. Good luck!
