Pressure At 19 Weeks

I am just shy of 19 weeks along. I have noticed pressure on my va___al area - not my belly - those are the ligaments stretching, I'm sure - but low like on my va___a. Is that normal? It doesn't really hurt, it is just pressure - is that just the baby and the uterus' weight on everything else in there??? I am a first timer so I tend to get a little nervous about everything....so any words of comfort would be really helpful right now! Thanks!!!

Hi. My husband is almost a 4th year medical student and has told me that those pressure like feelings in the v____a are most likely the round ligaments stretching. He said the round ligament connects through the uterus and goes through the inguinal ca___l and connects near the labia majora (the large lip area). He showed me a picture in one of his books so I could understand it better. So, I'm not sure that is what you are experiencing but it could just be the round ligaments stretching. I just turned 18 weeks and have had a similar feeling at times. I am also a first timer so all these sensations are really strange. Have you felt any movement yet? I had been feeling slight movement but today I think I was feeling kicks because I could actually see my stomach move. It was crazy! Hope this helps.
