Rough Sex

AFRAID - October 31

I have a question. When my husband and I have s_x, i usually like to get on top (its more comfortable and im 34 wks pregnant now). Does the bouncing/jumping hard on top hurt the fetus? I have been scared about this...but have heard that the baby is well protected in the womb. Please somebody respond... have you had rough s_x, too?

Afraid, i was wondering, the same thing, i believe it is ok.. Guess nobody else is having rough s_x but us.

We've done it in every position. Sometimes my stomach hurts after, but the dr. told me it's just my uterous contracting. I like it on top now too because my husband feels like he weighs 500lbs. since I'm pregnant, and I can't breathe. We both find it more comfy from the back also. My doctor told me to just do what my body is telling me. If it's telling me to slow it down, or try a different position, then do it. And if not... have at it!

It can cause your cervix to bleed. If he goes in deep it can possibly bump your cervix and that it not good. But when it happened to us it quit pretty quick and we have been careful not to do it so deep from them on.

Hmmm. . . . . - October 31

I have always heard it was fine to have s_x while pregnant as long as you do not start bleeding or hurting. I had an exam at 34 weeks and my doctor said he could feel the babys head, after that I was a little bit nervous about having s_x! Don't know if (it) would hit the baby in the head! Any ideas on this? LOL and wondering........

Doctors usually encourage s_x throughout the last month or so of pregnancy. It's good for you, as when you orgasm it strengthens your v____a muscles, and your last few weeks it can actually induce labour, will be a huge tension release for the expecting mom. Doesnt matter if it's rough baby is protected by its thick sac....keep doing what your doing...your partner will love this advice too!!! :P
