For anyone who dosen't go to burlington it has a section called baby depo. There selection is quit impressive. I live east of pittsburgh and not sure how far the stores go accross the country. If not I'm sure there's a baby u us around. There prices are a couple dollars more but a good selection.Again sorry if my statment comes off as rude.

I was so bewildered and clueless, by the amount of choice that's available, that I let my mom choose. This turned out to be huge mistake, because neither of us gave any thought as to whether it would fit onto my tiny car. It's a lovely travel system, but so big that I have to put one of the back seats down, so that I can put the front wheel through it. This means I can't have any other pa__sengers and it seriously limits how much shopping I can do as well. If I had my choice all over again, I'd go for something very small and lightweight.

The Burlington Coat Factory's where I live (California) don't sell strollers.

Think about how heavy it is and whether you'll have to be moving it in and out of your vehicle a lot--ours is huge and heavy, and extremely tiresome to get into and out of our vehicle . . . I didn't think about that beforehand, and I certainly wish I did!

I take that back, I found a Burlington that sells them, but they pretty much had only Graco's. I really want to check out the Bertini's, Bumbleride's, and Inglesina's. I found a specialty store not too far away, I will go check it out this weekend.

One experience that I had myself with strollers is dam I wish I had bought a smaller, lighter one. I got one of those travel systems and that stoller is so dam big and heavy it is such a pain in my a__s. It takes so much room in the trunk and it is very pointless to take it out because you will need it.

I can be a bit blunt and have been told I sound rude.It is not how I mean it.just a personal opinion I don't like to order off the internet.with somethig like a stroller you really have to see it in person.

I have 2 prams, one lives in the car and one in the house. A lightweight one for the car as i have a small car and a bigger one in the house. The one in the house was second hand from a friend and is handy when we walk locally, its one of those 3 wheel jogger ones , the other one is like a stroller from newborn upwards. I really dont see the sense in buying something too elaborate as you dont get your moneys worth and babies cost a fortune whereas i bought an expensive cot as i felt that was quite important. I dont know if u guys have the brand emmanjulinga there but those prams can cost a grand and i feel thats ridiculous. I have two prams and both together cost me 150 bucks, both are brilliant. I have spent a fortune on some things but if i can i've used my brain. We even bought a 70 dollar high chair instead of the peg pegero ones which go for 250 and do the same job...... New parents do go nuts and i know as i do too in some areas but u gotta try not get ripped off and use ya brain cause at the end of the day they all do the same job, some are just fancier, have sheep skin inserts etc etc

I agree, the Peg Perego prices are crazy! Their products don't seem very sturdy and cost twice as much as comparable brands. Their infant carrier costs double that of Graco's and doesn't not have nearly as good reviews.

Well I have the ever popular Graco Pooh Bear Travel system from Walmart. It's actually pretty awesome. Hubbay and I took the stroller to the park today and was pushing it thru sum pretty ruff terrain. It's only about $179 for the stroller, carseat and car base.

the woman on here have shared there stories.not to talk you out of spending 300.00on a stroller but to show you the pro's and cons of all the strollers.the last comment was unnessary and rude.Wanting to spend so much on a stroller probably comes from the fact you live in California.compared to the rest of the country it's different out there.

klmr - October 18

I'm sorry, I don't understand the rude part? Because I wanted a Bertini Bumbleride or Inglesina? I don't have a ton of money and I wanted this to be my one big splurge item. BTW most people in California don't have a lot of money, how could we with the cost of housing?

to klmr - October 18

everyone is being nice and not pressuring you to spend less.if you want to spend more then go for it.by saying "not" is like saying anyone who doesn't spend 300.00 is not getting a good stroller and putting there child in dangar.i can tell you from experinces that my 20.00 umbralla stroller has gone 1 to 6 miles on regular basis even weight down with 20 extra pounds of supplies and still going strong after a year.it even has a little basket, light weight, canopy and can be folded up with on hand.

Ummm....that "not" was in referance to a typo on the last posting! It had a double negative "doesn't not" I was just trying to correct it because it didn't make sense. Plus, what I was saying was that the GRACO has better reviews than the expensive Perego brand. Read it agin, you misunderstood.
