Ok, so now im about 6 days late. Im feeling tired, and I have nausea on and off all day. Im breaking out really bad and I have a constant headache that wont go away. I dont know if this is all in my head or what. I dont think I am pregnant but my bf thinks I am. I bought 2 EPT tests and Im going to take them in a few days. Im so irregular that I just want to give my AF a chance to catch up. I asked a few of my girlfriends how they knew they were pregnant and they all said that they had a gut feeling, which I dont have. Any of you ladies ever go through what I am and had a BFP?

I never had any gut feeling, both my dh and my best mate told me I was both times, but I didn't think so. However, you symptoms sound pretty promising for pregnancy. Don't know if that's good or bad news. Anywho, if your 6 days late (which you can be for a number of reasons that don't include pregnancy) a pregnancy test should show positive. I tend to get a positive the day before I'm due on. So get peeing on that stick girlie and you'll know for sure. Hope you get what you want. xx

When I found out I was pregnant with my son I was late. I took five test and one night I had gotten heart burn really bad and had to go the hospital. They took a prenancy test it was neg. Then had to go back for the same reason heart burn and they did another test and come back postive. so if the first one or few come back neg and you still have not started I would see a Dr. Stress could be another factor, worry and so much more. I would try not to think about it and see what happen. I hope everything works out fof you.

I took a test Wednesday and I got a BFN but still havent gotten AF. Should I wait until next Wed. to take the second EPT or should I take it tomorrow morning?? I still have the same symtoms but Im under alot of stress right now too.

crackersforme - February 16

I would at least wait two days until I took another test. If you can wait a week, wait (I don't think I could, though).

I believe you might be pregnant. Fatigue, headaches, nausea and skin breakouts are early pregnancy signs. Here is more info for you on that... 10. Tender, swollen b___sts One of the early signs of pregnancy is sensitive, sore b___sts caused by increasing levels of hormones. The soreness may feel like an exaggerated version of how your b___sts feel before your period. Your discomfort should diminish significantly after the first trimester, as your body adjusts to the hormonal changes. 9. Fatigue Feeling tired all of a sudden? No, make that exhausted. No one knows for sure what causes early pregnancy fatigue, but it's possible that rapidly increasing levels of the hormone progesterone are contributing to your sleepiness. You should start to feel more energetic once you hit your second trimester, although fatigue usually returns late in pregnancy when you're carrying around a lot more weight and some of the common discomforts of pregnancy make it more difficult to get a good night's sleep. 8. Implantation bleeding Some women have a small amount of v____al bleeding around 11 or 12 days after conception (close to the time you might notice a missed period). The bleeding may be caused by the fertilized egg burrowing into the blood-rich lining of your uterus — a process that starts just six days after fertilization — but no one knows for sure. The bleeding is very light (appearing as red spotting or pink or reddish-brown staining) and lasts only a day or two. (Let your pract_tioner know if you notice any bleeding or spotting, particularly if it's accompanied by pain, since this can be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy.) 7. Nausea or vomiting If you're like most women, morning sickness won't hit until about a month after conception. (A lucky few escape it altogether.) But some women do start to feel queasy a bit earlier. And not just in the morning, either — pregnancy-related nausea and vomiting can be a problem morning, noon, or night. About half of women with nausea feel complete relief by the beginning of the second trimester. For most others it takes another month or so for the queasiness to ease up. 6. Increased sensitivity to odors If you're newly pregnant, it's not uncommon to feel repelled by the smell of a bologna sandwich or cup of coffee and for certain aromas to trigger your gag reflex. Though no one knows for sure, this may be a side effect of rapidly increasing amounts of estrogen in your system. You may also find that certain foods you used to enjoy are suddenly completely repulsive to you. 5. Abdominal bloating Hormonal changes in early pregnancy may leave you feeling bloated, similar to the feeling some women have just before their period arrives. That's why your clothes may feel snugger than usual at the waistline, even early on when your uterus is still quite small. 4. Frequent urination Shortly after you become pregnant, you may find yourself hurrying to the bathroom all the time. Why? Mostly because during pregnancy the amount of blood and other fluids in your body increases, which leads to extra fluid being processed by your kidneys and ending up in your bladder. This symptom may start as early as six weeks into your first trimester and continue or worsen as your pregnancy progresses and your growing baby exerts more pressure on your bladder. 3. A missed period If you're usually pretty regular and your period doesn't arrive on time, you'll probably take a pregnancy test long before you notice any of the above symptoms. But if you're not regular or you're not keeping track of your cycle, nausea and b___st tenderness and extra trips to the bathroom may signal pregnancy before you realize you didn't get your period. 2. Your basal body temperature stays high If you've been charting your basal body temperature and you see that your temperature has stayed elevated for 18 days in a row, you're probably pregnant. And finally... 1. The proof: A positive home pregnancy test In spite of what you might read on the box, many home pregnancy tests are not sensitive enough to detect most pregnancies until about a week after a missed period. So if you decide to take one earlier than that and get a negative result, try again in a few days. Once you've gotten a positive result, make an appointment with your pract_tioner. Now head over to our pregnancy area. Also, don't forget to update your profile and sign up for our "My Baby This Week" newsletter. Congratulations!

With my first, I knew right away. I had the gut felling before I missed my period. This time though, I felt nothing. I only knew b/c I had missed my period. Stress plays a part in your cycle, so keep that in mind. Take the test to ease your mind, but try to relax. Good luck!

hCG hormone is supposed to double every few days. You can wait a week between tests if you want. Did you use first am pee, which is more concentrated? How about some of the other signs like unusual bbs, peeing, wet, ga__sy, backache etc? Good luck!

Still have those same symptoms with no AF. I cant seem to get enough sleep.. Last night I went to sleep at 930 and didnt wake up until 11am!! On top of that Ive wanted nothing more than to sleep whenever I could today. All my friends including my bf think I am but im convinced im not. Although my b___bs are starting to get real sensitive and my bf says they are kinda bigger but I dont see it. Im testing tomorrow morning hopefully its a BFP but I dont know.. im gonna go to planned parenthood if its a negative because Im 10 days late and something just isnt making sense to me. Thought Id just keep you all updated.

mgriffin603 - February 20

I took another test today and another negative... What gives?? Im 11 days late and showing signs...

mgriffin603 - February 23

Mommy1 - February 23

Still no positive? What did planned parenthood say...or have you gone there yet?

mgriffin603 - February 23

Nothing. no negative but more symptoms.. didnt go to planned parenthood cuz they wanted $40 for a urine test and I wasnt having it.. I rather pay money to the docs to get a blood test. Last night though I had some sharp pains in my abdominal region they were on the right side like where my ovary would be then switched to the left side like an hour later. After about a half an hour later it was gone.. could be ovulation pain I dont know, but if it is then that means I really arent pg huh?

mgriffin603 - February 28

Took a cheap-o test again and another negative.. Supposed to get AF next Friday since I didnt get it for February, we'll see how that one goes. I had REAL bad sharp stabbing pains in my right b___st today it lasted a good 5 minutes then stopped. Other than that still been real tired all the time and overly b___hy which my bf hasnt appreciated that much haha

mgriffin603 - March 15

I am now 2 months and 6 days late. I have taken several pg tests and all came back neg. (last one being last Friday) I have nausea on and off all day, always exhausted been REAL b___hy lately (my poor bf) thirsty, im gettin hair on my tummy and ive never had hair there before, and this is gonna be tmi but if my bf sucks on my b___bs its painful in my nipples and usually its not and starting 3 days ago if were having s_x and hes on top he cant put weight on my tummy cuz it hurts, starting today I have alot of dizziness.. What gives??

pba74 - March 15

You need to go have a blood test done. this will tell if you are pregnant. Keep us informed and good luck.

sahmof3 - March 15

See a doctor! I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and have had all of the symptoms you describe when I was not pregnant. Some of the symptoms actaully mimic pregnancy symptoms. When you said you are getting hair on your belly that sent up the red flags in my mind... as that is also a symptom of PCOS! Anyway, I'm still not sure if you do or don't want to be pregnant, but it can be much more difficult to get pregnant if you have PCOS, so if you are trying to have a baby you need to get a check-up. Good luck :-)
