I am into my second trimester and everyone seems to be telling me to take it easy now cause this is a very critical time in my pregnany. This is the first I am hearing anything like this. I had the understanding that the second trimester was the safest and best of the three. Just want some other opinions

What kind of wierd advice were you given?

Karen - April 28

They said that this is the most critical stage of my pregnancy. I always taught you had to be careful through out, but they make it sound as if this is the time to be most careful. That is why its weird casue they did not explain why this would be the time to be most careful. !!!

i've heard to take it easy in 1st and 3rd - the 2nd is to enjoy your pregnancy and get prepared for baby! have fun with it! :)

I am also in my second trimester. This is my second pregnancy, and let me tell you....this is the best you are gonna feel. This is the time that you should enjoy the most. When we get pregnant, everyone becomes a doctor and they always know best...yeah right. You are over the first hurdle...your baby is completely formed. But you aren't big enough to be miserable yet. So just relax and let their advice roll in one ear and out the other. Just have fun and get excited about your baby, not scared. But Im not a doctor, either. If there was something to be critical about...your doctor will tell you. Good luck

Thank you guys very much. That is what I taught about the doc, he has advise I have a very healthy normal baby "BOY" and have nothing to worry about. But as this is my first after a miscarrage I was begining to panic and think What now.....!!!.

Good one Sam, I right there with you. Yesterday I went home from work at 5 in the evening took a bath and went to bed. Woke up hungry, ate and went back to bed.
