I have hard that spicy food isn't good for your baby. but if I can eat it with out throwing it up like I do just about everything else then how will I know if I’m hurting my baby. Could that just be a myth or is there some truth to it. My doctor never told me not to but I didn’t ask. Has any one craved spicy foods. or know why it can hurt your baby and how to tell if your baby dislikes it

It is fine for a woman to eat spicy food during pregnancy. It wont hurt the baby. But if you get heartburn you may want to avoid spicy food.I always ate hot peppers, even when i was pregnant.

I loved spicy food while I was pregnant it was one of the few things that didn't upset my stomach. My babys are all fine so I don't think that it did any harm. I say eat anything that you can keep down excpecialy if you are having a hard time keeping stuff in you. Good luck.

It's okay to eat spicy foods! I have craved spicy foods this time around for some odd reason (I don't like spicy). One thing that I've found out since almost day one is that Tums can be your best friend, lol!!! So, it's not bad for the baby if you eat spicy! You may need something for heartburn/indegestion, but the baby will be okay.
