im just curious when I should leave work. I drive teenagers to work and from work, not that hard but i dont want to go into labor while at work, im due late jan. and how long does it usually take to recover after my baby is born. This is my first. My boss said h__l give me what i need but wants me back at work asap. what do u think?

Well i think that you should work until you are 38weeks pregnant. (lol i always gave birth at 38 weeks LOL) and the recovery all depends on wether youll have an emergency c-section or not. it can happen! with my second i did, and it took me over one month to even go back to almost normal. but it may take others 8weeks to go back to work. and if its natural, well i was feeling fine hours after birth, and went back to my babysitting job, a week after. especially if you can bring baby with you on the routes, than go back asap. when you feel up to it, ask for a month, to spend time with baby alone

With my second I took off at 30 weeks. Thats the earliest you can go on leave and still get your maternity benefits. (we get a year in Canada)
