hi,ive just joined here, and i am very worried, i conceived on Feb 1st 07, i have a slight bleed twice in a week now, with just a slight dull ache, which wasnt worth worrying about, i went to the earlt Peg unit today, had a scan(internal), they found a sac, but no yolk, and nothing else, they have taken my HCG reading its 3000, and i have to go back in 48 hours to see if its rising. Is there a problem ?? has my baby died ??? im so scared as i so want this baby. Im 36 this year.

Hey taza, sorry I don't have any advice to offer! I'm ttc myself, but just wanted you to know that I'll be thinking of and praying for you. I'm sure this is very hard and frustrating. I hope you and you're babe are safe and healthy! Let me know how you're doing!

Sometimes there is something wrong, but there may not be...just hope for the best and prepare for the worse. I kno how hard it is losing a baby, I lost twins back in November...I hope all goes well, good luck!

It's still really early in your pregnancy...so that might explain the "empty" sac...I've heard of a lot of people 5 weeks pregnant or so with an empty sack, but had another scan at 6/7 and there was the fetal pole! I had spotting early in my pregnancy and had severe cramps and I had a beautiful little girl in November! Good luck and congrats

taza, I'm sorry. Come over to the mc/loss board as many of the girls there have had similar experiences. I'm 38 and just recently mc at 9 weeks. It's awful, I'm sorry. Your #'s look like the doc is right, but I'd want to wait and see too; I think it's better to be very very sure. As I said, come over to the loss board - the girls there helped me a lot after my mc.
