6 Week Growth Spurt

My dd will be 6 weeks tomorrow. Yesterday she started being VERY fussy at the br___t. Last night she slept for 4 hours at a stretch (usually she's about 2 to 3 hours) and today she's eating very little. She seems hungry, but is refusing to nurse (she's exclusively br___t fed). I'm attributing this to a 6th-week growth spurt, but I'd appreciate hearing what your lo's were like during their growth spurts. I would assume that an infant would want to eat more to fuel the growth, but it seems my dd only wants to sleep and fuss!

I don't remember exactly how old Sarah was but during one of her growth spurts all she wanted to do was sleep. I called the pedis office because I was afraid she wasn't eatting enough and they said sometimes they do this, from everything I have read most of the growth hormone is made and releashed during sleep so that would make since why LO's sleep so much anyways. The next day or two she will probably be like a little piggy and eat and sleep all day long :)
