Okay, here's the scoop, my son is only ten weeks old and I think he may be cutting a molar. His bottom right molar seems raised and hard and white. he is drooling non stop, wants to bite down on his back molar on anything he can get in his mouth, has had runny, frequent poops and most recently starts screaming when he's eating and starts to refuse the br___t. i am getting frustrated cause I can only seem to get him to eat 5 mintues at a time before he starts to scream, and he's sleepy. does this sound like teething? could it be anything else? what do I do? isn't it early? i thought the front teeth came in first!!!!!! AAARRRGH!

I have heard of teeth coming in that early, but not back teeth. But I am not sure on that. SOME of what you describe sounds a bit like reflux (like the refusal to eatdrooling, and screaming). I would call you ped about this and get it checked to be on the safe side. Let me know though, I am curious! :D

I have a friend who has a little girl and she is 3 months old and has 4 teeth and they are all molar or back teeth. She started to cut her teeth fairly early as well so it is possible. I always thought baby got their bottom front teeth first but my son is getting his two top teeth first, I guess it just all depends on the baby.

Thanks amanda, that kind of eases my mind from worry that it could be somthing else.

My daughter was born with a tooth! It doesn't happen often, but it is possible!
