please tell me it gets easier!! My dd is 14 months, ds is a month old and trying to put him down for any length of time is really tough. Granted, I love holding him but the moment I put him down, he naturally screams his head off making my going to sleep rather difficult. Don't want him waking up dd so hes been sleeping in bed with me. I know I have to break him of it. Last couple of days, i've been carrying him in a pouch just so my hands are free! Feel so bad sometimes for our daughter, i want to get down and play with her...he will sleep on his own sometimes, just wish it was more often. Please tell me this gets easier, that he will eventually sleep on his own. Really cant' compare him to dd, she had reflux as a baby, so it took quite awhile to get her to sleep on her own.

It does get easier!!!!! My 2nd and 3rd were 17 months apart. The youngest was pretty good about going in the bouncy or swing when I needed to do stuff with the older two, but he definitely had his moments. He was a frequent nurser, too, so he required a lot of mommy time... but to me it just got easier and easier as he got older.
