Hello all.I have a soon to be 7 month old and he still does not have any teeth yet I remember with my first child he had his first tooth when he was about 4months. So I was just wondering if anyone else has a baby thats teeth came in a bit late too?I asked my doctor about it and he told me that usually they have there first tooth by 5 1/2 months. He said it was nothing to worry about that they should come soon. What is really strange is that he has been teething since he was 3 months I thought for sure that he would have had a tooth by now.

My ds got his first tooth this past weekend you can barely see it pooking through but I can feel the sharp little bugger when nursing hes almost 7 months. Alot of kids don't get there teeth til later there is no right or wrong timing with teeth.

Thank you ladies for your answers I find it more comforting to hear it from another mother that has been there.

My 5 oldest cut their first teeth after they were a year old...around 13 months. My mom said my sister and I both were ayear before we cut our first teeth. If you nurse, late teeth are a blessing ;-)

My dd is 9 months and no signs of teething! Not even bumps, so don't worry. Her dr said the latest he's seen them come it is 15 months. I thought she was teething at 3 months too, I guess we were mistaken. Good luck!

My daughter finally cut her first tooth at 8 months. And now at 10 months she only has her two bottom teeth. I also thought she started teething at 3 months = )

It is awesome that there are so many others out there who are going through the same thing.I wonder if they are actually teething at that age then?My doctor felt his gums and said that they were hard so it should be soon but they have been hard for months upon months now.It is alot better for nursing though.
