Colic Days Over

My daughter has been calm this past week. She don't cry as much, she will actually stay in her swing and I don't need to bounce her every second of the day. Before she would constantly cry, mainly during the evening...need to be rocked, bounced or something...now she has calmed down. From the sounds of it, do you think it is gone. Oh and before it took hours to get her to burp, now its only a few minutes.

Sounds like you are getting close to the end Nerdy! Good for you!!! My DS didn't have colic but I can't imagine what its like...I give you loads of credit for getting through it! Oh but just in case...I would knock on wood! lol Have a great day!

Yes! My dd was colicky and all of a sudden, it just kinda went away! Sounds like the end is near!!! You'll soon forget the hours upon hours of crying every evening and you'll probably have a happy baby most of the time!

my son was horribly colicky for the first 10-11 weeks, and then all of a sudden it was gone. I have heard that 12 weeks is like a magic turnaround for babies, so if you are near this age, it may be the same for you!

She will be 11 weeks on Sunday...and she is so happy, she just absolutely loves going outside as well, she loves walks because of noises, before she would just cry...it feels so weird though. Im so used to bouncing her and now just her sitting on my lap enjoying everything is SO amazing

I'd have to say that three months was the magic moment for me as well. It really does change the way you feel. I was tense and anxious and then all of a sudden I had a different baby. Enjoy, there are beautiful moments to come. My daughter is now 6 months and I adore her. She is such a great, happy baby.

Yeah, my daughter is a doll now, well she was still a sweetheart before but now she will laugh and play forever and not just a few minutes and then cry.
