My ds is constantly grunting. He is 2 months old and wakes me up every morning grunting. Why does he do this? Is this common?

My daughter does it, she squeaks and sqeals too. Very noisy sleeper, but only for periods of sleep. I looked it up in the "what to expect" book and it's pretty common for REM sleep. It says what looks and sounds like restless sleep is actually their most productive sleep. Made me feel better to read that.

My ds is definetly a "grunter"...lol He grunts when he sleeps and when he's "protesting" a burp...lol It's like a "manly-man" sound...lol They are just starting early. Sometimes when he is sitting on his boppy and grunting I picture him as Al Bundy (old Married with Children) all he is missing is a beer and a remote...lol

huh. It doesn't only happen when he sleeps. It is definitely a manly-man sound, haha.

My DD squeaks, squeals, oohs, ahhs, and grunts. I think it's normal! She's almost 3 months.

my DS also grunts alot. Obviously super load when he is poopin...but he does it at odd times also. But not when he sleeps! He is a really silent sleepter...scares me sometimes! I am always checking over him and listen for light breathing sounds!!!
