Obviously the book isn't perfect or my boy would be sleeping through the night, but it did help. I'll have to go check out the new pics.

Brooke congrats on being an Auntie! I love being an aunt and having cousins..tho nowadays its getting harder for me to get together w/my siblings. My brother has 4 kids and my sis has the 2. Nat is being really wierd today...totally different..like i say, every few months, you get a whole new child! She hasnt wanted to nap much...and is really likeing to be held but shes not sick or anything. We went to the park..it was gorgeous..she did sleep there while J played. Now she is in her jumperoo having a grand ole time...its so darn cute. Im back on WW again...lol...im making a turkey lasagna...it should be good and make DH happy too.

CHRISTINE: Love the pic of Alana on the cell phone. And she totally looks like she loves the camera in the pic with her shoes on! So who else started giving solids? I'm on the rice cereal and think it's either time to add a morning feeding of it and/or give him a fruit at lunch time. This whole solids thing is tough work!!

Jo ive been doing rice cereal but not consistently...its just one more thing to add during my already hectic dinner time...so i forget! I just said to DH, "gosh i hope i remember to feed her once shes really on solids! lol". I figure right now its just a "trial" I think shes really teething...shes drooling like crazy..and pretty crabby...today pretty much sucked. My body is exhausted. I wish i could take a magic pill and sleep once she goes down. But it takes me awhile to unwind. Christine, cute pics of Alana...Karen, i just found your Halloween pics...Tyler had the same pumpkin as Nat! so cute!

I love the new pictures of Alana and David! Suze, Hudson has been clingy and crabby as well. Those darn bottom teeth are still not all the way through. It's like they stop and start again. Today had been the first day that I have not enjoyed being a mom since Hudson's birth. I'm just exhausted! I wish I could figure him out. The good news is that Dh has planned a day away for me and my friend, (it's his best friends wife.) Anyway, we're going to the Ritz Carlton to get a ma__sage, pedi and brunch. I will be gone from 9-5. She's 18 wks prego, so I will be the only drinking bloody marys at brunch!!!!

brooke, that sounds WONDERFUL!!! What a guy you got there! I feel like i need a good extended break...like a whole day also. But since this weekend is DH's birthday..i guess im gonna have to buck up for him..lol. Natalie has not shown any visual signs of teeth but its gotta be that..b/c she will be chewing on my finger and then just kinda scream. I gave her some motrin tonight to see if it makes a difference. I hope tommorrow is better for both of us. My arms arms and back need a rest!

BROOKE I am so jealous! How great though that you get to take a day off. I don't think my DH could get through a whole day without me right now.. much less a whole hour or two! Lol. OH oh oh! Alana laughed tonight! I did a big smile and a gasp and she giggled a little, so I kept doing it and she laughed almost every time. Soooo cute. Not a big laugh or anything, just small laughs. I took a video (of the floor, haha) just so I could get the audio to show DH. I hate when he misses things like this!

Christine, my dh will have his mom helping! At this point, I don't even care if he needs help in order for me to get away. I love the giggles. I tickle his feet and he laughs. Suze, I hope the motrin helps. Does it last for 8 hrs? I've only been using tylenol on Hudson, but use Motrin for Charlie because it lasts longer. I hope you have a better day tomorrow as well :)

Hey girls! I'm glad to see Tyler's not the only one drooling up a storm! I tried the teething rings but he wants nothing to do with it! Last night he slept from 9-6AM (in his swing)! I think I may try the rice cereal in the bottle, what do you girls think? Suze, Tyler was not happy in that pumpkin suit at all! I took it off him as soon as I got to my friend's house. My knee is still killing me, but the swelling's finally gone down. Instead of pain killers I opted for the vino. Brooke, have a great time tomorrow!! I'm going to a tricky tray tomorrow night to get outa the house for a while! Desperate times call for desperate measures or something like that. lol I hate not being able to drive!!! I feel like I'm trapped. Oh well at least tomorrow's Friday. Hopefully hubby won't have to work Sat and Sunday is MIL's bday.

bl - November 8

Karen, how nice that Tyler is sleeping. I forget, what's a tricky tray? My special day is Sunday, I wish it was tomorrow!

suze42 - November 9

Karen, yeah...what the heck is a tricky tray? Must be an East coast thing eh? Nat did fine in her pumpkin suit..but Jeremy lasted all of 15 min as a power ranger. Oh well..hes not a dress up kinda guy. And i have done the rice in the bottle before w/both kids...as long as you are right there while they eat..then no way can they choke..so imo its fine. But it did not really help Nat sleep any better. Christine, Natalie has just started giggling too..it is absolutely the most joyous thing to see! Makes everything worth it for sure.

Brooke, are we not suppose to use motrin yet? I forget...come to think of it my ped. did only mention the tylenol dosages. Hmmm. I only gave her like half a dose. Mommy bad! well im off to bed..i pa__sed fatigue and am not even tired by now...i never want to go to bed b/c then the morning comes that much faster...sad...but true. At least its Friday and J has school and the weekend is here. Oh my neighbor just had her baby boy on Monday and i dropped into see them. The baby is SO SO SMALL...He is 7lb3oz...and i just cant believe nat was so small just a few months ago!!...our babies are more than twice the size..and she looked so big. Its amazing... Time is flying for sure.

JerseyGirl - November 9

BROOKE: Lemme get this straight. Not only do you get an amazing day off, but your DH planned it? That's like a foreign language to me. You're so incredibly lucky! I'm sure you'll have no problem enjoying it! I guess I'll just live vicariously through you... KAREN: Congrats on the long sleep for Tyler. David did well again last night: 8:45pm until 6:30am. Not sure if it's coincidence or what, but ever since I've put a onesie underneath his PJs, he's been sleeping this long. As for rice IN the bottle... what's the point? I thought giving solids was to have them get used to eating off a spoon and stuff. But if it's to help him sleep, maybe you can. Just don't make the nipple hole larger by yourself; buy a size 3 or something... SUZE: Um, your neighbor's baby is so so small at over 7 pounds?? I guess you forgot that David was only 5, 12!!! And I'd be surprised if he's doubled his birth weight yet! He's a peanut but I think he's gonna be really tall with big hands and feet.

suze42 - November 9

jo, Nat was 7'10 and 7'3 when she came home...i meant that the baby SEEMED so small now compared ot our babies. I just cant believe how fast they grow...and that we actually had those little peanuts only 3 mos ago! Its amazing. TGIF is all i can say today... this has been a long week for some reason.

suze42 - November 9

oops...i meant 4 mos ago... She is crabby again today....Yay. at least J is in school .

bl - November 9

Jo, I know it's hard to believe that he did that. Before we had kids he used to do romantic, thoughful things more often. Guess what... Hudson slept from 7-5:30, ate and went back to sleep until 7:15!! I feel so much better although, I kept waking up realizing he hadn't made a peep. I do hear now that he has a little cough. Suze, when I see Hudson's new born pics, it's hard to believe that just a few months ago he was that tiny. He was 7.3. Jo, I can't believe how little David must have looked!!
