Hello. Here's the latest thing...my 6 week old daughter has been br___tfeeding on one side for maybe 20 minutes or so. She will either fall asleep or stop nursing. If she is still awake, she seems content so I don't bother trying her with the other side. The problem is, nursing on one side obviously isn't filling her up enough to hold her, so I end up feeding her on the other side maybe half an hour to an hour later. Feedings then seem to go on forever.....help!!

How long has she been doing this? If she just started it then she may just be going through a growth spurt. They tend to cluster feed during growth spurts, but it will pa__s in a few days.

Hmmm...good question....yeah, maybe it has been the last few days. Boy, growth spurts are tiring!!

Yep- sounds like a growth spurt- 6 weeks is right on track, too. Also remember that b___stmilk is digested very quickly, so your dd will be hungry sooner. Just make sure that when you feed her again to start with the other side or you will end up VERY lopsided like I did...I think I had one DD and one B- not a pretty picture LOL!

LOL. Same thing happened to me. I learned really quick to keep track of which side I nursed on!
