Hard Time Feeding Baby

My ds is 11 months old. I ve always have hard time feeding him since he was 2 mths old. He only weigh 18 lbs now and the dr told me not to worry as long as he is getting taller, and he actually quite tall (almost 30 inches) but he just too skinny for his height. He seems to have no desire to eat. I normally give him toys while he is eating so he would eat, but lately he won't even swallow the food. I am sooo frustrated. He is a very healthy baby, just got sick once. But I still concern if he does not want to it. Is there any way to make him eat/ any vitamin to boost his appet_te. Any suggestions will help. Thx

Some babies just don't eat as much as others and are just small by heredity. If your doctor isn't worried then I wouldn't be overly concerned. Has your doctor ever done any tests to rule out any physical problems as to why he may not want to eat, such as swallowing difficulties, etc.? I would discuss the concerns with your doctor. There's not any thing that I'm aware of that you can give a baby to boost appet_te. youcan give vitamins, but they do not make them gain weight as weight gain comes from calories and fat which vitamins do not have.
