Hylands Teething Tablets

Anyone have opinions on them. I am pretty sure my 3 month old is teething. My MIL felt her gums last night and she found a little bump and my dd just loved it when she rubbed on it. I have been giving her Tylenol like once a day. A friend of mine told me her dd did very well on the Hylands tablets.

They work wonders for my LO, hes 4.5mnts. and honestly I WONT leave the house with out them. When I get the bottle and shake it (just to make noise and get his attention) he know exactly what it is and he opens his mouth...I think they help. Good luck.

I sware by these tablets. By far my favortie! My dd loves them, and also opens her mouth as soon as she sees them. They really have no taste to them , moreso of a chalky disolvent instantly. Plus much better and healthier then giving tylenol. G'luck!

I posted this same question a couple weeks back. I then asked her Doc and he said not to give them to DD. They have a hallucengenic in them and can cause some babies to halucinate. He told me Tylenol and Oragel if need be. We infant motrin and she sucks on cold wash cloths. The cold numbs her gums and she can hold them herself. Many people swear by them but the halucinates scare me.

The advice nurse at my pedi office said only Tylenol and teething tablets!

My Dr. also said not to use the teething tablets b/c of the herbal ingredients. Orajel was also not reccomended since it doesnt last very long.
