Italian: -Boil any pasta you like to al-dente style (firm), it'll say on a package; -Cut up turkey or regular italian sausage is bite size pieces and brown it; -After you brown sausage, take it out and put it in a baking dish, then saute some chopped onion in the same pan; -Add onion and cooked pasta to sausage; -Get a big can of diced tomatoes with basil and add it to the sausage and pasta mixture; -Add some shredded mozarella, or I just get those Sargento Slices (Pepper Jack to add some spice); -Add a bit of olive oil, then mix everything up, you can also put cheese on top after you mix it and put it in the oven for 30 min on 350 degrees. I cover mine with foil and then take it off the last 10 mins. I usually make salad to go with this.

Oh yeah, I forgot to put salt and pepper on there.

I work 2 nights a week, so Im the crockpot queen. Not only does hubby get a hot meal while Im at work, but I also get a hot meal when I get home. One of my favourites is to brown veal cutlets in a skillet. In a bowl, I combine sliced mushrooms, tomato soup and some tomato paste. In the crockpot, I put some of the sauce, then a layer of the veal, then more sauce, then swiss cheese, then more meat, sauce, etc. I put the crockpot on low, just to keep things warm and melt the cheese. Its a winner everytime! It also works well with chicken/peppers/marble cheese.

This is so easy and yummy. Cook meatb___s (homemade if you like, I buy ready made). Blend equal parts grape jelly and chili sauce. Pour sauce over meatb___s. I like to serve it with rice.

Italian Chicken. Marinate skinless boneless chicken b___sts halves in Italian Dressing over night in the fridge. Grill on a George Foreman Grill, on outside grill, or can bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes (longer for chicken b___sts that have not been halved) (btw - I think grilling works best.....) serve with Garlic toast and a salad.....

Emily - January 17

Also I used left over chicken for chicken wraps the next day, just dice the chicken and put in a tortilla or pita wrap with lettuce, cheese, veggies, and I like to add rice......

I've got a good one that I made up-Chicken bacon tortillini take 1/2 lb bacon, cut up into bacon bits and fry, add 2 cut up chicken b___sts and cook, I also add 1/2 a red pepper and 1/2 an onion, cook until tender, add about a 1/2 a cup of white wine or chicken stock to pan cook down and finish w/ milk or cream(this is best) and some parmesan. Oh yeah and add black pepper and italian seasoning, while thats all cooking cook up some tortillini, when that's done drain and add to chicken bacon mixture, this is fast, but can be used for guests. As Rachel Ray would say Yum-O. Serve w/ garlic bread and salad and you have a great meal. I also do the chicken b___sts w/ italian dressing thin and use them for quesadillas and chicken caeser salad.

stuffed peppers: cut peppers in half and core and rinse. brown hamburger (1-2lbs.) drain. put in 1 can tomato sauce and 1 can tomato paste, stir. and one cup of cooked minute rice. place hamb. mixture in peppers and cover with one 15 oz can of tomato sauce. bake at 350 degrees for 45 mins. then cover with shredded cheese and bake another 15 mins. YUMMY if you like peppers. I use green and red peppers for this.

Missy - my sister, who's the mother of four, just gave me the TATER TOT CASSEROLE recipe. I browned the ground beef with diced onion instead of celery and used TWO cans of soup and a blend of smoked cheddar & sharp cheddar cheese. It wasn't the most pretty looking, but it was so easy, quick, and yummy.

With me being on a strict diet to lose this baby flub i didn't think i'd find any tasty meal out there that was healthy but i was wrong! (my hubby didn't even relaise it wasn't "real" food until i told him :o) ) dice some onions and crush some garlic cloves in a wok and soften them, add diced chicken b___sts, wait for the chicken to be very nearly cooked then add any chopped up veggies you want toss and cook for about 5 mins. Add 2-4 tablespoons of soy sauce and serve with rice cooked in water with a vegggie stock cube et voila, YUM! i'm gonna cook that tonight for dinner! By the way i love the phrase tator tot, think it sounds really cute. I'd never heard of it before coming on this site.
