Don't forget, on 3/11, to set your clocks FORWARD an hour (where applicable). AND--- anyone else disappointed with a few of the picks for American Idol last night??

krnj - March 9

Yes! I was disappointed that Sundance went home! I thought he was one of the better ones.

I can't believe Sanjaya is still there. He has NO BUSINESS being in the top 12. I want to know who the heck is voting for him. I know this sounds bad, but I think all the help desk support people in foreign countries are calling in and voting for him.

ash2 - March 9

I know JB....i dont know what the deal is, but he needs to be outta there !

janelle - March 9

I so agree I loved sundace.Sunjaya can smile all he wants but he will never even come close to winning.I agree jb who is voting for him???

EMBERBABY - March 10

sanjaya has the little-girl-vote.

mommie2be - March 10

I think there's moments when Sanjaya knows he shouldn't be there himself (the shock on his face has been hilarious). I just hope it gets a little more fair- that was ridiculous.

luviduvi - March 10

Well, lets face it ladies....what the heck is Haylie still doing there? She is cute and sweet but c'mon! To me there is only two people in the comp....Melinda and Lakisha! WOW those two can SIIINNNNGGG!

hutcho1984 - March 10

I agree Sanjaya should be gone. Gutted that sundance was put out. My faves are the 17 year old girl (Jordan??) the beatbox guy and Chris Sligh!. Nic x

Mellissa - March 10

I definitely think melinda and lakisha are the only two girls with a chance... and out of the guys i really like Blake (the beat box guy) and chris richardson (i think that's his name) the one who sang "tonight i wanna cry". Sanjaya definitely should not still be there..i don't even know why the judges let him in the top 24! what were they thinking?!?!

mommie2be - March 10

abso-freakin-lutely Luviduvi.... Simon couldn't even remember her (Hailey's) name! lol I'm rooting for Chris Sligh (boy from SC- hoorah!) and Gina!!! Lakeisha will have a contract whether she wins or not... like the judges said, she's on a completely different level than the other compet_tors.

MM - March 10

I agree about Lakisha. And I don't think Haylie or Sanjaya should be in the top 12. Sabrina was WAY better than Haylie. I don't really like Sundance, but just about anyone is better than Sanjaya.

Lindsey - March 11

I'm intrigued as to why your clocks go forward march 11th, but here in the UK it's not until 2 weeks later on the 25th. I just presumed everyone did it at roughly the same time. Can anyone shed any light on this lol

Lindsey - March 11

Sorry I don't watch American Idol.

mommie2be - March 11

Per our government mandate: Starting in 2007, most of the United States and Canada observe DST from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, shifting clocks typically at 02:00 local time. The 2007 U.S. change was part of the Energy Policy Act of 2005; previously, from 1987 through 2006, the start and end dates were the first Sunday in April and the last Sunday in October, and Congress retains the right to go back to the previous dates once an energy consumption study is done. (from wikipedia)

mommie2be - March 11

Lindsey, it's weird how the DST for N America was changed! I understand the written reason, but I'm a little conspiracy theorist and I think there's a deeper truth! LOL ;-)

jolou - March 11

Stupid question, but on is a woman called Cat Deeley on American idol in America? I've been watching a bit of it here (I'm in the UK), and the british TV presenter Cat Deeley is on it, interviewing the contestants as they left the stage. I was wondering the other day if you see that in the US too, of if it's just for the benefit of us brits!
