Lolly, I know why "they don't go get their own man" Because it is easier to prey on someone else's man (especially if the relationship is in trouble or boredom is setting in) it is easier to be a skank than faithful, it is easier to be someone's mistress than a wife!!! Unfreakinbelievable what these b___hes will do! So what's her account I want to take a peek at this skank? ;)

It IS possible for a woman to have a male friend & vice versa & not have it turn into anything more than a platonic friendship. One of my closest guy friends & I met each other in highschool (a few years before dh & I started dating). Dh became his friend just before we started dating. My friend and I lived about a 10 min. walk from each other & took the same program at the same college. (So we were together pretty much all day every day.) I hung out a lot at his house & if dh couldn't come over (because of work or whatever) I'd still hang out with him - we'd lie on his bed watching movies together (with blankets) in the dark. And no, he's not gay. My dh never worried about us because he trusted me (& my friend). It's not fair to the other person to constantly be doubting them or telling them who they can & cannot hang out with. Not every girl is out to steal your man & even if they are, it's up to your man whether they will let something happen or not.

ROFL Emberbaby!!! OMG That is tooo funny! No offense MM, but I totally disagree. Men CANNOT be friends with an old female friend!! They just can't keep their teeny weenys where they belong! LOL!

No offense taken CyndiG, you're ent_tled to your opinion. I just disagree because if an old male friend of mine needed someone to talk to, I'd be there for him & I know my hubby wouldn't have a problem with it & vice versa.

Well, I talked to hubby and gave him the tree a___logy. He thought I should be proud that other dogs like my "tree", but agreed that he wouldn't want to share his tree either. Hoprfully this issue has finally been put to rest. But the next time she comes sniffing around my tree, I will not be held responsible if her feelings get hurt. ~ Lolly, thanks for the compliment :)

Before hubby and I started dating, I had several very close guy friends. I would snuggle with them on the couch while watching movies, call and boo-hoo to them if a guy I liked blew me off, give them hugs, sleep in their bed, etc. Anyway, when hubby and I first started talking and occasionally dating, we got on the subject of my guy friends. Hubby was quite blunt: if a man is not gay and does all the things my guy friends did, I may think that they were my friends but they have plans of getting in my pants. He said any guy who really listens to what a woman has to say, wants in her pants. So I asked him why did he listen to me talk about my day - he said he definitely was going to get in my pants :) Ah, yes my younger days... :P

lol kara! that convo with dh is so funny!!!! lolol haha, ok sorry. =p your post was funny too emberbaby! It's true that it is much easier to be sleazy than honest! sorry MM, but if you have never had feelings for this guy friend of yours, then he almost deff has had feelings for you at one point or another even if he kept his mouth shut. Seriously, every single straight male friend I have ever had has tried to date me at one point or another. They don't just hang out with you because they like to hear girl chatter. Maybe I am wrong and you are the very rare exception in which case, you are lucky =) Also, Kara, I'm glad you talked to dh, I think that sometimes they just don't understand without a little help! lol. did he like the a___logy? emberbaby, did you see her myspace? what's your url btw? I don't think I have you on my friend list... I can give you mine if you don't want to post yours =) I don't have it right now though.
