My husband's job is pending a transfer from Charleston, SC to Charlotte, NC or Hickory, NC. I know those areas are nice, but if anyone that lives or knows about those areas can offer advice, I would appreciate it (like safe areas vs places not to move). decent public schools, etc... Thanks gals! ps- my dd's pics are updated: myspace.com/self227

Hey mommie2be! I don't live in any of those areas (actually used to live in Charlotte NC until I was 11) but just wanted to say I live in Charleston too! I looked at your myspace and I also went to Stratford. Small world.. lol.

hey mommie2be i live in rock hill,sc and its like 15 min away from charlotte and i go there a lot. i wouldnt suggest moving to east charlotte because thats where a lot of crime seems to happen. my uncle lives in the university area and its a nice place to live. i just suggest not moving to east charlotte! South charlotte toward the pineville area also is a nice place too. well i hope i helped!

Meagan... I totally forgot you were up that way! Crissy, it is a small world! What year did you graduate?

Hi! I'm from a very small town, Fort Lawn, SC. About 50 miles south of Charlotte and 50 miles north of Charlotte. Fort Mill has great schools and is growing very fast. It is just mins. away from Charlotte but out of the big city.

I graduated in 1998. That's so neat! I never thought I'd run into any locals on here.. lol.

Crissy... too funny. Tell me about it- I am c./o 97. It really is a small world! :) I'm getting excited about reunion. Kena- Fort Mill, is it pricey or still relatively inexpensive to move to. Outside of the transfer, it's just kicking out b___ts to find a decent home in Charleston, in our price range. It's growing so fast! Thanks gals! :OD
