once your LO started on more solid, chunkier foods(3rd foods, gerber grads, table foods) did you stop giving pureed baby fruit /veg all together? i still give lexi these as a side sometimes, especially with breakfast, to give her diet more variety since i'm limited with canned fruit/veg that is sodium & syrup free(can't find fruit packed in 100% juice anywhere except for gerber grads apples, pears, and peaches!) guess i'll have to consider cooking it myself... do you think i should totally stop offering these so she learns how to handle "table" food?? she does do fine with everything i offer...

I still give my ds (15 months) pureed food for breakfast alot of the time I will offer him the sugar free applesace it comes in granny smith, blueberry and stawberry- ds loves it so we offer that alot. Otherwise he is on all table food we have always given the applesauce once a day as its hard to keep fruit fresh and berries are so expensive this time of year.

yeah, that's my thing, lisa..i barely buy fresh fruit this time of year other than apples, grapes, babnanas, and oranges because of the selection and price. i guess i only have a few months left before summer will be arriving (YAY!) and by then she'll hopefully have more teeth and be able to handle bits of fresh fruit.
