Question About First Post Partum Period

Ok. First off I had a section with my son. He is almost 4 months old and exclusively br___tfed. A few days ago i noticed a little brown on the toilet paper. I figured it was either starting my period or it was from s_x. Well it only lasted like a few hours and was only there when i wiped so i chalked it up to s_x. Well last night i was getting ready for bed and kinda felt a little leakage (ew i know) So i went to the bathroom and it was bright red blood so i was like "o oh im getting my period" and this morning, NOTHING at all. What the heck is going on?? I dont know what else it could be besides a period. Could my body just be trying to get back to normal and thats why its so NOT normal? Thanks for any help.

are u on birth control pills or something like that? b/c I had that when i went on bc pills, spotting here and there and then stopped and then again. maybe ask your ob/gyn, just to make sure. I'm sure its nothing, but just to be on the safe side i guess

hey - i had a section too but I am not b___stfeeding so my period returned literally right after the PP bleeding. then my next period was REALLY heavy and long, probably just the body trying to regulate like you said. also if youre on any form of hormone b/c that can affect it too. give the doc a call if you dont think its any of those things. Do you exclusively b___stfeed, or supplement with formula or are you weaning him?

I have been told by dr that even just spotting can be concidered your period. I would not be terribly concerned.....
