Hi ladies! My daughter is 5 weeks old and is exclusively br___tfed. The past couple of days I have noticed that her poop has been tinged a greenish colour. This doesn't happen every time, most are the usual mustardy colour...but every once in a while, there will be some green in there. Any ideas? Should I be concerned? thanks...and sorry about TMI!!

That is normal. My ds's is greenish alot of the time. My last ds's looked like spinach alot of times...gross, I know....but the dr. said was normal.

Hey ssmith - be aware that greenish poo can also mean she's not getting enough hindmilk. Make sure she's nursing on one b___st for long enough.

Yeah bean...I had become a bit obsessed with the whole fore & hind milk thing when I first began b___stfeeding, so I make sure she's on one side for a good long time. That's why I was / am wondering why the greenish poop?

My son was/is formula fed since he's been a week old due to the fact that I became very ill -- he's bm have always been a sort of green/yellow mush. I say it's normal -- though it may be different since your dd is bf.
