What Does This Sound Like Teething Etc

my dd has been waking up for the past few nights once or twice and i've been trying to let her cry a little more instead of going to her right away. she will cry off and on for about 5-10 min, stop, lay down and try to fall back asleep, sometimes she will fall back asleep for 5-10 min, then starts to cry again. this went on for 45 min last night. i didn't go to her until 45 min because it was off/on and she kept calming down and would stop crying, but then start up again. i have a video monitor so i could see what she was doing. she would stand up at her crib and look for me, then lay down and try to sleep with her lovey. finally she started to scream and i went in, but all this had been 45 minutes. she is 7.5 months so she doesnt need a bottle. she is in the process of getting her 2 bottom teeth. i guess my question is: does this sound like teething or is she just wanting me to soothe her? when i went in to her i picked her up and gave her the paci and she fell asleep within minutes and slept till morning. this has been going on for a few nights now and i am wondering if i need to really give CIO a try or if it sounds like teething, etc? sorry this is so long! thanks in advance!

If she is teething then she is not feeling well. When they don't feel well sometimes they can become more clingy and want more of your attention. My babies didn't sleep or eat well when they were theething. If you feel she is just being spoiled then CIO works good but for teething I think a little extra attention doesn't hurt.

i agree but i dont know if its teething waking her or not, guess i'll never know! but she is fine during the day and not fussy, eats good, and is just as clingy with me as she's been the past 3 months. i wont let her CIO right now, with the time change and everything else, i'll give her some time and see how she does...cross your fingers! lol
