Hi. My baby is almost 12 weeks old. Just wondering what time do most of you put down your little ones? And how????

DDT - November 19

At 12 wks my ds was going to bed at 7-7:30pm. He would wake up from his afternoon nap at the latest 4pm. Then have a bottle (cluster feed) at about 5:30pm. Have a bath, book and bottle all by 7:30pm. He would get another dream feed between 10:30-11pm....and then he would sleep through to about 7am. Now at 9 months he only takes 2 naps a day (about 1.5-3hrs total) so he needs to go to bed earlier. He goes down for the night at 6:30pm, and then generally sleeps till 6:30-7:30am. He gets dinner at 5pm, bath at 6pm, book, bottle and bed. When he was 12wks we swaddled and once he found his thumb things got so much easier because he soothed himself to sleep with that. Now at 9 months we just put him down with his blankie...he rolls over to his side or stomach and thats it.

At that age my lo was sleeping btwn 8-830. He just started to have a regular bedtime, but naps were still up in the air. But, by 12 wks he magically started sleeping 10 hrs!!! He would get a bath (every other day), nurse, then get put down sleepy but awake.

My dd is 12 weeks, I was putting her down at 7:30. But for the last week she's been going down at 6:00. I rub her down with lotion, get her in pjs, swaddle her and rock her while she takes the bottle. By the time the bottle is gone, she is asleep.

at 12 wks my son ate at 7 pm and fell asleep for about 30 minutes then he wakes up and at 8 pm I gave him a bath and then a ma__sage then I feed him again and he falls asleep somewhere between 8:45 and 9:15. He usually slept until 6:30 am and I would feed him again and he would fall back asleep until somewhere between 9 and 10 am.

My daughter is 14 weeks and goes to bed around 10pm or so. She's gone to bed at that time most of her life.. I'm a night owl so it wouldn't have worked for her to go to bed super early and then be up at the crack of dawn. She usually wakes to eat around 6am-7am and then goes back to sleep until around 10am most days.

At 12 w's my lo went to bed around 9:30. We are night owls and dh works night half of the time so I prefer her to go to bed later and sleep later. Now at 7.5 m she actually doesn't go to bed until between 11 - 12am but she also doesn't get up then until about 11am. and since she doesn't have to go to day care or school for awhile this is what works the best for us.

Yay Terio! Another nightowl who gets it. My boy is 6 weeks and we have finally reached a routine..although his sleeping is still punctuated by a few more wakeups due to his age. I don't put him to bed until around 9-930. He generally sleeps til Midnight or 1...feed him...sleeps til about 5...feed him again and hes down until 8 or 9. If I go to bed late (which usually happens since I am also a nightowl) I can feed him then and put him back down and he sleeps till 11ish. That ends up his morning nap.

dd is almost 6 months and she goes to bed between 6- 6:30- well we start her routine then and she is usually in her crib asleep by 6:45 or 7 pm. We put in her jammies and then I nurse her in her room in the dark and put her in her crib and she goes to sleep.
