My husband and I aren't wanting one just yet, but I was just curious, because it seems like everyones kids seem so close in age

MNMOM - November 29

my boys are 4 years apart (almost to the day!) and I love it. It is perfect for us.

sahmof3 - November 29

My oldest and middle kids are 3 1/2 years apart... wanted them closer, but it took me 21 months ttc to get pregnant. My middle and 3rd kids are only 17 months apart, though... LOL, obviously no fertility issues that time!

My 1st and 2nd are over 11 1/2 years apart. Not by choice but by bad luck. I have decided I want one more and I am going to wait about a year and start ttc. My doc said that would be enough time for my body to recover and get ready to carry again.

Yeah, for us we want minimum 1 year but thats cause my hubby wants them close together. But I want at least 3 years apart...or until my daughter is potty trained (she is 3 months now)

cubbie - November 29

My 2 girls are 2.2 years apart, I wanted them closer but had a late mc at 5 months when my older dd was 10 months, so it would have been just 14 months difference. I want as many kids as I can have (and cope with) and am already 34 so big gaps aren't an option!!!

We have 5 years between our first 2 - thats a brilliant gap....3 yrs and 8mths between nos2 and 3, liked that gap too...3yrs and 3 mths between nos 3 and 4...We had some jealousy issues there which are pretty much dealt with now..Our youngest is 8 mths now...

excited2bemama - November 29

we only have dd.. but dh wants our kids to be 2 years apart and I want them to be three years apart... still debating. :o)

DDT - November 29

DS is 9 months old and we plan on TTC for #2 next July/Aug. So, if concieving happens quickly like it did with DS then our lo's will be about 25-26 months apart . Df wanted them closer than that (18 months) in age but I'm not willing to deal with that. I compromised with him.

Nerdy_Girl_10242006 - November 29

Seems like not many so close together as I thought...I do although don't want the whole jealousy issue with my daughter and a new one, so I hope to spend as much time with her as I can before I do have another one

kristine - November 29

We are planning on trying to have them be 2 years apart. I want them to be close in age....I just think that it will be really nice when they are older (although more challenging for a couple of years). I figure that I'll just have another baby while I am still in "baby-mode!"

jodie - November 29

My two are 20 months apart to the day! It's great! My son just turned two and my daughter is 4 months. It's nice because he is young enough where he has no jealousy issues with her, but old enough to be a little more self sufficient. He is very helpful with everything and he looooves his little sis.

kimberly - November 29

My first and second are 4 years 9 months apart only because I had issues concieving. I would have liked 2 years. My youngest ds and my dd are 4 years 3 months apart. It just took me a while to figure out if I wanted to try for a girl. For me 2 to 3 years apart I think would have been ideal.

Crystal83 - November 29

My 2 oldest daughters are 2 years 8 months apart, and my middle daughter and youngest are 4 years apart.

DB - November 29

We will be ttc in Jan/Feb...dd will be 12 months then. So, they could be 21 months apart if all my treatments work the first time again.

DH and I received custody of his then 8 yr old boy. I was 7 month pg at the time. We went from having no kids to having an 8 yr old, then 2 months later we had our baby. Now, we have a 6 month old little girl. So, there is the 13 yr old, the 4 yr old (who will be 5 in Jan.) and a 6 month old. Anyways, for me it was 4 yrs 4 months and 1 day between my 2 babies. And, I am so DONE.... It's been the hardest having to reverse all (the bad and negitive ways) that was taught to my step-son.. 6th grade has been a real challege this yr.. On top of dealing with Pre-K... But, I'm still smiling.... :) Stars..... :)

My boys are two years and 9 months apart.
