I was just wondering what age do you start stage 3 baby food? My son is 7 months old, no teeth yet.

Good question. Kodi is six months and is on stage 2

I would say when you notice that your little one isn't getting full off of 2nd foods. My daughter is 7 months ,6 teeth and still is on 2nd foods.then again I figured 4,5 and 6 months...1st foods and 7,8,9 2nd foods and 10,11,12.....3rd foods.Even though i started 1st at 3 months and 2nd at 6 months. She was way to hungry.......good luck

We're phasing them in now - DD is 7 months with no teeth, and has started eating a jar and a half of stage 2 foods at each sitting, and then nursing an hour later. Dunno what I'm gonna do if she doesn't get toofers soon! lol

My son is 10 months and he pretty much skipped stage 3. I still give him some baby food but he has 8 teeth and loves whatever I'm eating. If I'm not cooking for myself, I give him some yogurt, fruit (either fresh or baby food), and same for vegetable. I make the babysitter give him the jarred meat because it makes me gag. He loves cheerios, rice cakes, crackers, mashed potatoes, meatloaf. Oh and I did notice on some baby foods, I think it's beachnut, on the stage 3 it says 6 months and up. I think you just need to est your child and see what he's ready for and make sure nothing is large enough that it could get stuck in their throat. If she gags on anything, than I would make it softer/smaller.
