Will He Ever Cut A TOOTH

My ds had been teething for about 2 months. He has been drooling non-stop, and I have had to use the teething tablets a few times, but still NO tooth. He is now 61/2 months. I know all babies range in age when they get their teeth, but I feel so bad for him because it is taking forever!!

My daughter got the front two bottom teeth rather quickly but at her 9 month appt. the pediatrician told me she was getting SIX top teeth in. At her one year appt. they still weren't through! Now she's 14 months and all of them broke through in a few days time. Your little boy might just get them all at once and have a rougher time with it but its over a lot quicker. At least once they're in they're in unlike babies who get a tooth and have a few weeks before they get another which continues for the first two years or so. Best wishes.

All of my kids were over a year before they got their first tooth. My mom said my sister and I were over 1 year as well.

I thought the same thing about my daughter. She started showing signs of teething around 3 months but didn't get her first tooth until she was 8 months old. She's 9 months now and has her 2 front bottom teeth.

My daughter has been teething since about three months she is now just under five months old and has two little razor sharp bottom teeth. It started with a lot of drooling and her ped at her two moth exam thought her gums looked swollen, anyway her dr said it could take awhile for teeth to surface.

While teething were your babies hard to deal with? Constantly fussing, and just generally cranky? My daughter has me at my wits end. The past few weeks she is never happy. My days cant go by fast enough, I am always looking forward to bed time, so I can have some sanity time. And she acts like she has a real little att_tude problem. While trying to feed her, she always purses her lips together, refuses to eat. While changing her she screams and tries to get away, if I am holding her feet together to clean her, she is kicking trying to get her feet loose, all the while she is screaming at me. She is just plain cranky, and I am finding it really hard to deal with her. Plz tell me that this is a part of teething, and that it will get better?
