I read anywhere from 6-9 months is a good time to introduce yogurt. If you suspect your lo might be lactose-intolerant ect. then its a good idea to wait till the end of that spectrum and ask your ped's advice. I started my ds on yogurt at 6.5-7 months old. I've been giving him Stoneyfield Yo-Baby (he's 8.5 months old) but just bought a pack of Dairyland Lil Ones for the first time to try out. The Yo-Baby is expensive (or at least it is in Canada at about $7 for a 4 pack). Just make sure the yogurt you do buy is whole milk and not skim milk or non-fat. I have been giving my lo yogurt 1x a week, but plan on giving it to him 2x a week now. You can give it every day if you want. It's an excellent source of calcium. I usually give it to him for lunch with some added fruit to it.
