How To Bring On Labour

Hi i am 38+ weeks and baby is measuring at least 7lbs i am fed up and need to have this baby now! my feet are like baloons and my ribs kill! i need every bit of advice on bringing labour on/self inducement! please help!!!!

Start by walking. Take someone with you, of course. Maybe, if you find the strength, do some things around the house that a vigorous, but not strenuous. I'm not sure if your feet are too swollen for you to walk. Maybe a very light exercise video, or just turn on the radio and dance. Get up and get moving so that baby can drop and put some pressure on the cervix. I've read that stimulation of the b___st or expressing milk can help. But you have to be careful about it because it could bring on really strong contractions. Good luck.
