9 Weeks Pregnant And No Fetal Heartbeat Could Be Seen

When I was 7 weeks pregnant I went in for a va___al ultrasound. The Dr found a sac but no fetus. He scheduled me to come back in two weeks because he said it could be to early. He also checked my hormone levels. I went back in today, 9 weeks pregnant, and did another va___al ultrasound. He could see the fetus but could not see a heartbeat. He said he would schedule me for another ultrasound tomorrow, to check the blood flow, but to prepare for a miscarriage. He sais with my hormone levels at 3000 2 weeks ago he should have been able to see something. Has this happened to anybody else? Should I have anything to be worried about?

HI, ERIN, i am in the same boat. Did your dr. told u to go the hospital and is your hcg levels are incresed with the privious test level. If "YES" then don't worry beacuse sometime we don't know but the dates are not right....

I went to the hospital last night and i found the same thing. I could see the sac but no fetus. I have been scheduled to go back on Friday and have other tests ran but i am so scared. There was no dectetable heart beat at the time of ultrasound ( im estimated to be about 9 weeks along. )

Well I go in for my second blood test on Monday to check my hcg level, as I too thought I was 9 weeks but the embryo showed about 6 and the sac about 8, with no heartbeat to be found. I am still hoping for the best though and hoping the best for all of you.

I went into the hospital the night before last ( May 26th ) I got to hear the babys heartbeat. Very strong. I wasnt as far along as they thought i was. Im thinking that you all are probably having the same problem. Hang in there and Much Love from me.
