Dwindling HCG Confused Help

Okay..so we think I'm about 6 weeks pregnant, but not totally sure about this yet. Had an HCG draw this past Thursday evening..and it was 6000. My second was on Saturday evening and it was 10,000...and then my last draw was on Monday evening but it was only 13,000. The dwindling number concerns my doc...but my sister is a nurse pract_tionor and she says this is not necessarily gloom and doom. I have read so many different things: that this could be okay or it could be really bad. I'm having a sonogram this week, but my husband and I are feeling heartbroken already about this even though I feel very pregnant and have no pain or bleeding. Any hope here???

your sis is right...the numbers are not the same for everyone...try to relax and let us know what the u/s says. My numbers were very low for being as far along as I thought I was and when doc did another test 1 week later, they jumped up from 118 to over 4000. Everyone is different...stay positive..no bleeding is good....still having symptoms is also good. Good luck!!!

it is not a good sign when HCG levels are not doubling, they should double every 2-3 days and if there not it is usually a sign of an unviable pregnancy. I wish you the best of luck and the best possible outcome.
