Ectopic Loss

I had my tubes tied 9 years ago after my second child was born. On Sept. 22, 2005 I found out I was 6 weeks preg. My new husband and I have wanted to have a child so bad and we thought this was an answer to prayer until we found out it was ectopic and that I would have to had surgery to remove both of my tubes. What a devastating blow. I am still crying and hurting like I have never hurt before. It is weird to think how quickly you can love something. I was in pain for a couple days, then find out I am pregnant and think "thank you God" only to be told I can't keep my baby. the took my baby like she was some sort of cancer. and then i am told it saved my life to have the surgery like that makes it easier to deal with. I am venting due to the pain. If yu hurt like me or if you have some comforting words, please post back. It is hard to handle all of the emotions. thanks.

As hard as it is, you need to realize where the baby planted itself, it never would have survived anyway. I have had an ectopic too. I had my son 11 years ago and have been trying year after year after year to have another with no results. Then, I get pregnant with the ectopic. My tube burst and I had to have emergency surgery. I don't know - maybe because I lost three before I had my son I was "used" to losses. That sounds bad, dosn't it? I accepted the fact that what is, is and there are certain things I can't change and there isn't anything I can do about it. Frustrating... I am very sorry for your loss. I know the pain and am very familliar with it. Give yourself time - time to heal and time to deal with what happened. Trust in the fact that things always have a way of working out no matter what the outcome. Maybe its not meant for you to know the outcome just yet. Try not to dwell on it too much either or you will hurt more then you need to. Take care and best of luck to you...
