Gap Between Pregnancy And Uterine Wall

I'm 9 week pregnant and have had a pretty rough pregnancy so far. I keep bleeding (not terrible, but steady) and my doctor was unable to find a reason. I went in Monday on emergency because I was bleeding more than usual and he did a u/s. He said there appears to be a gap between the pregnancy and uterine wall, which is where the bleeding is coming from. The baby is growing fine and the heart is beating normal. He said the problem isn't all that uncommon and usually resolves itself, but for now he has me on a very restricted work schedule just as a precaution. I'm jus wondering if anyone else has had this problem and carried full term. I know he said it usually resolves itself, but I'm just really scared. Thanks for the input. ?

Sounds like a partial abruption with the gap actually being a pocket of blood. At least that is how they described it with my first baby. I delivered him at 34weeks though. Be very cautious as mine was diagnosed at 29weeks and you are still very early. Hopefully it will resolve itself but the bleeding really needs to settle soon or it may cause further problems as the womb stretches. Hopefully all will be well. Congratulations on your pregnancy!
