Head Pelvic Disproportion And Chorioamniotis

Hi ladies. I had my dd 9 months ago via emergency c-section. I develped an infection about 12 hours into labor, 8cm, and fully effaced with no progression for about 4 hours. My water had only been broken for 5 hours when the infection occurred. I am pregnant again and thinking about delivery. The doctor said I can try VBAC but said chances are I have an unusually small pelvis, which caused the delivery problems and the infection. I am thinking I will get a repeat c-section, but just wondered if anyone in this situation had a successful VBAC. I would post on the c-section board but the mood is generally anti c-section at all costs there, so I wondered if anyone had an opinion or had been diagnosed/had either of these problems and what you did.

I have not had c-section but may have to have one this time round (low placenta). One of my girlfriends has had 3 c-sections with no problems and good recoveries and did not go for VBAC because of the risk of rupture of uterus, especially high if induced, which of course means hysterctomy and no more children.
