Hopefully someone out there can give me some information on my situation. I have a healthy 3 1/2 year old daughter and have had 2 miscarriages in the past year. The last miscarriage being a partial molar preganancy. I am now 5wk 3 days pregnant. The problem is my HCG levels this pregnancy seem extremely high. At 3wks 6 days 536 and one week later at 4wks 6 days 8025! I'm so scared this could possibly be a molar pregnancy. If anyone has had such high nubers and turned out to have a healthy pregnancy I would love to know! I know it's not twins because I have seen one gestational and yolk sack at 4wks 6 days...

Hi, well I'm nt exactly sure if this is any help, but possibly one (twin) wasn't seen, or you had another sac that caused high hcg amounts and it absorbed before your US. I went to the ER last week and they estimated me at 9-10 weeks per hcg at 65000 well they did US and realized I was 5 weeks 1 day with two gestational sacs, told me that I was having twins and sent me home, today I went for US and one of my sacs vanished, called vanishing twin syndrome, there 4 days ago, and than gone. As heartbreaking as that was they couldn't find a fetal pole or hb with other sac so just waiting on another US. Otherwise they said there's no tubal and not a molar so, with everything u seen on US u sound n good shape, wishing u a happy n healthy 9 months congrats!

just an update, I'm now 8 wk 5 days and I have seen the hbeat! It's 162 bpm which I guess is perfect! I guess I'm not too worried about my hcg levels anymore because everythin looks normal on the ultrasound. I can't wait to get out of this danger zone and into the second trimester!

I had high hcg levels and the dr.s related it to down syndrome. they were wrong.
