I had my scanning yesterday and doctor said that i have less liquid around baby and also called it as mild to moderate oligaominos. I just wannt to know what it is and if it effects the baby in any kind. I am 19 weeks now.

That you're low on amniotic fluid. I think you'll be fine... I know of some other ladies who have had this, and gone on to have healthy babies. Do a google search on low amniotic fluid, and see what it says... also... join fertilichat.com where other ladies might be able to offer support (board for pregnancy, infertility and other issues)... good luck.

I am not sure of all of the risk to baby , but I do know there is an increased risk of a cord accident to happen, b/c there is not enough free fluid for the cord to float in so it can become tangled around the baby. But, like she said there are so many women who have this who have healty babies, so try not to stress and do what the Dr. suggest.
