For Bella About Ttc After Still Birth

Bella, I tried to answer your post but the link was bad so I hope you get this. I lost my little boy at 32 weeks. It was ten years ago and everyone said we should wait and give ourselves time to grieve. Well I am sorry to tell you but the pain does not go away. It gets easier and time does heal, but the only advice I have for you is try as soon as your body is up to it. The only thing that ever took away the hurt and anger was the birth of my daughter. And in my case it took almost 8 yrs. She taught me just what I lost and for a minute the pain was almost greater but then all I had to do was look at her and feel so lucky. I do not know if you have any other children but if you do then I am sure you understand. And if you don't then do not wait like I did because you are afraid of it happening again. I promise once you hold your next baby and hear them cry you would go through the pain of losing a hundred children to experience the joy of raising one. Take Care

Thank you so much Jamie. I have my 6 week follow up today. I think I might have gotten my period. He was my only child. I plan on ttc right away. I feel ready. I miss him soo much.

Jamie - I stopped in this thread just to offer support. You made me cry.. What you say holds so much truth. Take care... our babies are playing together in heaven
