I am now 3 days into my m/c and I am passing clots all the time Sorry TMI but I am not bleeding very heavy. Is this normal for a m/c I was only 5weeks would have been 6 today I am worried that if it's not heavier I will have to have a d&c that will hold up my ttc even more. I just want to move on from here anyone have any opinion on this?

If you were only about 5 to 6 weeks there isn't much tissue to pa__s. I have heard that it will be like a heavy period. I am so sorry for your loss. I don't think you will need a d&c. I lost mine at 12 weeks and it was horrible. I had full b__wn contractions and I ended up hemmoraging and needing an emergency d&c. Perhaps you could try waiting a month or two. Sometimes drs suggest that so a pregnancy can be dated properly. It will also give you a couple of months to take folic acid and build up your iron reserves again. Good luck and keep us posted.

I am sorry for your loss... With my m/c, there was just a real brief period of heavy bleeding, it lasted a few hours maybe, it was when all the clots and the sac pa__sed.. After all the clots were gone, the bleeding was rather light, and then turned into spotting for the last 3 days, and I only bled for a week all in all. I should of been 7 weeks but baby was only 4-5 weeks. The severity of the bleeding is dependent on how far along the pregnancy was. You probably won't need a D&C, its more of an elective thing at this stage. Some people choose to have one to get it over with quicker, but in most cases, this early into the pregnancy, you can pa__s everything naturally without incident or complications. If the bleeding continues for more than what is expected, or HCG levels arent dropping correctly, that is when it sometimes becomes necessity over desire, and this is usually after a couple weeks or more. If you aren't bleeding heavily now, you shouldn't worry yourself over it. I'm sure everything will be fine, and it will most likely taper off completely after about a week to a week and a half. If it doesn't, be sure to check with your doctor and make sure everything is as it should be. It is more of a concern when the bleeding continues extendedly than the volume of the bleeding itself. At least, that is my understanding of it. Hope this helps. *hugs*

Im sorry for your loss.. mine was the very similar, it was like a heavier period. I had few clots and tissue the first couple days.. and tapered off to just spotting. I was 5wks6dys. I had a chemical pregnancy.. egg fertalized but didnt implant. My HCG was 44 the day i started to bleed.. and there was nothing in my uterus when i had the u/s done, That was only about 2hrs after i started to bleed. And nope.. i didnt need a d&c, did follow my levels down to <2 tho. Make sure you do that! Best of luck to you.. sticky baby dust to all of us SOON!!
