I went from taking the pill to using the patch. When I swtiched to the patch I didn't take any placebo pills trying to skip my period because I read online that it was okay to do that once in a while, I had a wedding to attend. (white pants and periods don't mix) After a few days I started bleeding, which was my regular period time so I just left the patch on and ignored it figuring that my body must want me to have my period or what ever. That was the 30th of july when I started bleeding. I have been thru patch # 2 and just started patch # 3 today. And I am still bleeding. I don't know if its because I tried to skip my last period (which didn't work anyways) or if my body is just messed up because of the switch from the pill to the patch. (Now for the gross details) This bleeding has been off and on. Spotting and then constant. And it doesn't look like blood. It's sort of a brownish color. I don't know what to make of all this. I'm hoping my period will go away soon. If anyone has some answers for me that would be great. I'm guessing that I will have to call the doctor soon. Does any one have information on that Depo shot? I am thinking about that instead of the patch. Thanks a mil!

Samatha - I really hope that you get your birth control issues resolved. But this is a place for woman who are greiving the loss of their babies and some are trying their best to get up the nerve to try again to be mommies. So we are not so good on giving out advise on how not to have babies. Does that make sense to you? Thanks a mil! ;)
