Missed M C At 13weeks 8weeks Pregnant And SUPER Scared

So i had my missed m/c on Feb.5th (14week mark). I found out that i would be m/c at my 13week u/s. They found no baby just a sac measuring 40millimeters. I had no spotting, or cramping the whole time up to then. I got pregnant very quickly (1cycle) and am currently 8weeks1day. The worst thing is that with this pg i had bleeding at 5w3d (u/s showed little sac) and have had spotting everytime i have s_x (so i cut dh off). Im sooo nervouse and everyday gets worse, my appt. is on May 29th (just 11weeks). I feel better knowing that its not on my 13week mark and that my mom is coming with dh and i. Does anyone know what the odds are of having 2 missed m/c in a row?? I heard that its very unlikely for it to happen again. Thanks for letting me talk...just need to vent!

It's unlikely to happen again, but I understand how scary it is. I have a subchorionic hematoma and started bleeding from that at about 30 days post-conception, just like with the m/c. When I poured blood, we had an emergency u/s, but that was only rea__suring for a few days. It does get easier once you see the fetus, and you'll feel better too once you get past the point at which you lost the last one.

hi kira. i have had exactly the same concern as you. i had a scan at 10 weeks to find the fetus had stopped growing at 6 weeks with no HB back in feb. it was devastating. i am presently 5 weeks and 2 days and wondering the same thing.. i so hope it does not happen again to us.. try not to worry about the spotting during s_x, i have heard the cervix is more delicate and sensitive when you are pregnant. my doc has not referred me for an early scan unless i really want one... i think i might request one at 7 weeks when we can see more... good luck kira.

Kira and Leasa, I know how scarry it can be. The chance of you having a second m/c is almost exactly the same chance that you had of having one with the 1st pregnancy (about 15-20% possibility that you will miscarry). So try not to worry (easier said than done I know I've been there), while there is a chance that you could m/c, there is a much higher chance that you wont.

The chances of another miscarriage aren't very high but I am in the same boat. I have a 2 1/2 year old born 2003, and had a natural miscarriage last spring. I'm now 6 1/2 weeks pregnant again, and I can't help but feel paranoid about another loss. I have even had a couple nightmares about bleeding. I just hope to get past this, so that I can enjoy my pregnancy.
