Mother Day Thoughts

I just had a miscarriage in early April. Yesterday (apr. 23) my mom was talking about what the family would do for mother's day. I don't think she realized how hard that was for me to hear. I don't want to take her day away from her since family is very important in my family but I don't know how I'm gonna get through it.

Tiffany I'm so sorry I know how hard Mother's Day is after a miscarriage. We celebrate Mother's Day earlier in the UK we have it in March. Last month when we had our one I found it so hard as I had suffered my second miscarriage in December and was (still am!) surrounded by pregnant friends/friends with newborn babies. At our church they made a big deal out of it and I was in tears when I got home after. I think you should have a gentle word with your mum. Tell her you still want her to have her special day but warn her it will be a difficult day for you. I'm sure she will be very understanding she just probably hasn't thought of it like that. It's not easy but it's one day and will soon be over. I hope you will be ok and I wish you happpier days to come xxx
