Okay...should I be a little nervous??? I think I can't help it, and I am beginning to be a little nervous! My levels come back- 111 (at either 15 or 14 dpo) and they told me I am in the 2 to 3 wk pg range. the 3 to 4 wk range is 500-10,000 and the 4 to 5 wk range is 1000- 50,000.... the nurse told me not to be worried as the first number isn't telling us much, but to definately get it drawn tomorrow for a 48 hour check to see if they are at least doubling. They messed up and ran a prolactin and so they will run a progesterone and let me know that one tomorrow. You guys.... I can't help but be a little nervous....just trying hard not to get worked up over this! ugh!!!! I pray they are doubling. She did say that if they are not doubling then that could be a sign that the pg isn't going well. Ugh!!!!

Yesterday (the day they drew my blood for the hcg) I was either 4wks 2 days or 4 wks 1 day...that is if I ovulated on cd15 or cd16....sorry...ROBYN, what are the ranges you had posted before? Does my numbers look bad?

oncemore - October 2

Okay, I just looked at a place were they said that in the 4th wk (14 days past conception- when period is due) that the range is 5 to 426. So going by that, I wont worry. But I remember the nurse telling me once (last cycle) that I need to get the test done at the same lab as each lab has different values and how they run the test.... so maybe the range they are giving me at the dr's office is the range that THAT lab goes by and how they run the test.... and the info I got online is not a good compairrison. Ugh!

Lori, ok so this sucks! I am going to do some research to see if I can find anything on numbers and where they should be...stay tuned. Try not to worry in the meantime...easier said then done.

okay, thankyou Frances for looking. Sounds like you found something similar to what I found... then why the heck are my dr's office's ranges soooo high? Ugh! I feel like calling them back, but it wont do any good... I just have to wait until I know my next beta numbers (tomorrow morning I go for the draw, but I wont know the results until Thursday!) Ugh!!!!!!!

FrancesM - October 2

Lori, call them and double check, I would!! I am thinking that the first test would just be reading the fact that you are pg. Call them if it would make you feel better.

tiffany79 - October 2

Lori... sounds like your right on track! Here are HCG at certian DPO.............10 DPO: 10 - 50 mIU/ml HcG 13 DPO: 20 - 100 mIU/ml HcG.......................... 16 DPO: 40 - 200 mIU/ml HcG......................... 19 DPO: 80 - 400 mIU/ml HcG............................ 22 DPO: 160 - 800 mIU/ml HcG

FrancesM - October 2

I am going to agree with Tiffany. But call if you want to. Don't wait too long, it is getting late and they may not get back to you.

oncemore - October 2

Thank you Tiffany and Frances. I am just not going to worry myself over it (well, I am gonna try REAL HARD, ok!) and just wait to see if my number is doubling with tomorrow's draw. Which, I wont know the results until Thursday some time... more time to NOT worry, right??? LOL!

ZenGirl - October 2

LORI- the ranges are just so broad and they overlap each other. you number looks good,in my opinion. i think your second number will confirm that for you :)

saramcg - October 2

LORI- don't worry- those numbers are fine! let you body relax and get to making that baby- stress is not good! glad to see you got a darker line! I hate the waiting game too, but you will get your great numbers back soon! The nurse really doesn't know either- she's not ht edoc. and even so, the numbers are merely a guideline- you and your baby will be fine. I am going to try to wait til 12 dpo (thurs) but I just might cave on and test tomorrow (seeming that I bought 3 of them )haha- we'll see though- well off to master's cla__s for me--- I HATE tuesdays! be back ALOT later if at all tonight!
