Grieving.....AGAIN - November 14

I have just suffered my 3rd miscarriage - I'm doing ok but they all varied in time one was 5 weeks, one 6 and the next one 11 weeks, I was told that he chances go down once you are 9 weeks and the baby is floating around, however I still miscarried, I'm sure i was just unfortunate and I know people lose babies at any time hroughout their pregnancy, At what time did everyone else miscarry

I am so sorry to hear of your loss, have your done blood work? many autoimmune dieases will make women miscarry in the first trimester ,lupus, ana and rarely factor 5. I lost my baby at 24 weeks but it was due to preterm labour and i was tested afterwards but all came back neg. My doctor told me that sometimes a womens own body will "attack" the embryo as it develops because it sees it as a threat. Please keep your hopes up because even if you test positive for any disorder there are medications that will help you have a healthy pregnancy, my heart goes out to you every life is precious no matter how far along you were.

I lost the baby at 12 weeks. Heart beat stoped 2 days before my 12 week apt. Everything looked fine until that point. I think when you see the h/b your chances go down, when hear the h/b your chances go down even further.. but unfortunately I think there is a always a small percentage of issues thoughout your pregnancy BUT they are rare once you get into your second trimester. ~ I am sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you and wish you lots of baby dust with your next pregnancy. Btw, is your doctor going to run test to determine if there is a cause? My doctor said he would do that after 2 m/c.. but I think most doctors wait for 3 m/c. (both options suck)! Again, good luck.. sorry for your pain. hugs...

I mc the first time at 13 weeks, the baby stoped developing at 8weeks. The second time at 7 wk the baby measured only 5 wk 2d. My dr tested after the second and all came back normal. I have read that once you see the hb your chances of a successful pg increases, then again when you hear it, and again once you pa__s the 20 wk mark. I agree with kate there will always be issuies which can cause mc. I envy those women who have easy pg with no complications. Mc sucks and I dont wish it on my worst enemy. I think about my losses everyday. I wish you lots of baby dust.

I am so sorry about your losses. IT just takes all the fun out of starting a family doesn't it? I miscarried at 15 weeks, 5 weeks and 7.5 weeks. All tests came back normal. I saw a heartbeat with the first and third. I am ttc concieve again, but this will probably be my last try for a while. I am tired, emotionally drained, and ready to be a mom, so we will be starting the adoption process if our next pregnancy fails. Good luck to you!

I miscarried at 12 weeks in June 2005. I had seen baby on ultrasound at 6 and 9 weeks and was shocked to find out that baby had no heartbeat at 12 week appointment. I am currently 17 weeks pregnant and rented a heartrate doppler because Im a paranoid wreck. I sure hope I get to meet this little one. I am so sorry for all of your losses and will be praying for healthy babies for all of you. Kara, My husbands mom had lost a few babies and decided was told that chances of her having a baby were slim. She adopted two babies and then had a suprise my husband and he was a healthy baby then she adopted another baby after him. She had a wonderful family of two girls two boys (three adopted one biological
